Objection of saying “Maula Mushkil Kusha” and Fatwa of Kufr

Allegation:
An objection is put forward that Maulana Ahmad Raza Khan labeled Hazrat Maula Ali-ul-Murtaza as “Mushkil Kushaa” (meaning, solving of difficulties) in “Hadaaiq-e-Bakhshish”:
Murtaza Sher-e-Khuda Marhab Kushaa Khaibar Kushaa
Sarwaraa Lashkar Kushaa Mushkil Kushaa Imdad Kun.

And he himself said in his pamphlet “A’laam-ul-I’laam baan Hindustan Dar-ul-Islam” that writing such couplets is Disbelief:
Ali Mushkil Kushaa Sher-e-Khuda aur Haidar tha
Do-baalaa martaba tha Raakib-e-Dush-e-Peghambar tha
Buttoun ke Torhne main us se Ibrahim Hamsar tha
Agar hota na zer pa kataf Shah Rasoolaan ka.

Answer:
Which intelligent person told you that Fatwa of Kufr is put on each and every verse and word in this poem? Don’t dough! First verse of this poem is truth and correct according to Imam Ahmad Raza. And the references you have quoted are our evidence too. In this saying, the third and fourth verses confirm the dishonor of Hazrat Ibrahim (Blessings on him) which is Disbelief. That’s the reason Fatwa of Kufr was put on this poem.
About Hazrat Ali question in being “Mushkil Kushaa” (by the grace of Allah), none amongst the knower of the traditions can refute this. Nabi-e-Kareem (Peace and Blessings of Allah be upon him) labeled Hazrat Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) as “friend and master of every faithful” (Mishkaat). Your Nawab Siddiq Hasan Khan also agreed on this that it means “helper and friend, lover and defender”. Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) also said this about Hazrat Ali (May Allah be pleased with him) “Allah solves the difficulty through his hand.” (Mishkaat, page 563). The “Fataah” (Actual solving of difficulties) is Allah alone, but solves through the hand of Ali. At many places Hazrat Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) said “Umar would have got killed if Ali didn’t help.” (Al-Isti’aab fi Ismaa al-Ashaab, volume 3, page 39). In “As-Sawaaiq al-Muharriqa, page 127” it is stated with reference to Ibn Sa’ad “Umar bin Khattab used to ask refuge to Allah in getting difficulty when Ali is not present for it”
In the books of past, he is labeled as “Daffa’ Muzillat” meaning “Mushkil Kushaa” (Al-Sawaaiq al-Muharriqa, page 247). And over here it should be clear that without Allah’s grace he has no authority, but by the grace of Allah believing him to be “Mushkil Kushaa” is correct. Therefore Imam Ahmad Raza said in the end of the poetry of “Imdad Kun” that:
Be Wasaail Aamadan siwae too Manzoor too naist
Zaan bahar Mahboob too Gaweed Raza Imdad Kun.
Mazhar ‘oon andd, aen jaa maghaz harf-e- besh naist
Ya’ni Ae Rad-e-Nabi-o-Auliya Imdad Kun.
Meaning: O Allah! You do not like coming towards You without a “Medium” (Waseelah), that’s why we’ve asked Your beloved men as the “tawassul” (that they help us by becoming “Medium”). They are the Mirrors of Your help, and seeking help from the Mirrors is seeking help from You alone”
In the Traditions it is stated that “Seek every benefit from the pious faces” (Al-Jaama’ al-Sagheer, page 43-44). And “O men of Allah! Help me” (Musannaf Ibn Abu Sheebah, volume 10, page 10; Masnad Abu Ya’laa, Hadees# 5269; Majama’ al-Zawaid, volume 10, page 132). Doing “Tawassul” from Holy Prophet (Peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) by Hazrat Umar (May Allah be pleased with him) and then doing “Tawassul” from Hazrat Abbas (May Allah be pleased with him) is narrated. (Bukhari, Hadees# 1010, narrated by Anas (May Allah be pleased with him)), because Allah has ordered:
یَا اَیُّہَا الَّذِینَ آمَنُوا اتَّقُوا اللّہَ وَابتَغُوالَیہِ الوَسِیلَۃَ وَجَاہِدُوا فِی سَبِیلِہِ لَعَلَّکُم تُفلِحُون
“O people of the faith! While Keeping the fear of God in the heart and asking help from the Medium (Waseelah) and keep striving then it will be possible that you get success in your goals."
Now about this that whenever Ala Hazrat needed help, he called Ya Ghaus-e-Azam; this need of help is related with "Tawassul" and choosing Ghaus-e-Azam only is due the deep love of him, and Ghaus-e-Azam is as fast as Asif bin Barkhia in fulfilling someone's desire(s). And one who rejects the help from people of Allah is really unlucky.
